The agent sends every change to the preview, which only you see; Publish puts it live at the app's own address. Publishing an app is on any paid plan, and in the same window you choose who can open it.
Steps
- Open the appIn My apps press the app's card. The page shows the Preview on a computer, a tablet and a phone. — open in Apiway
- Press PublishThe window asks Who can open it?: My workspace (only you, signed in to Apiway), Team workspace (people of your Apiway workspace, signed in) or Public (anyone with the link, no sign-in). Then press Publish.
- Publish a changeAfter the agent changed the app, press Update and publish. The address stays the same. Unpublish takes the app off its address; the preview and the data stay.
- Change the access laterPress ⋯ → Share.
- Connect your domainPress ⋯ → Domain URL. Copy for my agent copies a task for your agent, which leads you through it. Or press Type the address myself, enter the address in Domain or subdomain and press Connect. Add the one CNAME record the panel shows at the company where you bought the domain. Check again re-checks it.
- Bring a version backPress ⋯ → Versions and Bring this version back. The preview goes back; the published app changes only when you publish.

If it did not work
- A window says “Publish your app — it is on any paid plan”: Choose a plan in that window. Building and the preview stay free; after the payment you come back and the app is published.
- “The preview is asleep”: Press Wake up.
- The domain does not open: The DNS record takes from a few minutes to a couple of hours. The panel checks by itself; Check again checks now.
- You have no domain: Open I do not have a domain yet in the panel: you buy one at any registrar and come back.
Questions and answers
Does publishing delete my data?
No. The data stays. A migration that deletes data waits for your answer.
What happens if my paid plan ends?
Published apps pause; your data stays, and they come back when you renew.
Can an AI agent make my app public?
It can publish when you ask. Opening the app to anyone with the link is your own choice in the Publish window.
