Open App Factory, press the Website card under Template categories and fill in the brief. An AI agent builds the site from the brief, you check the preview and publish it.
Steps
- Open Create an appOpen App Factory in Apiway. The first screen is Create an app. — open in Apiway
- Press WebsiteUnder Template categories press Website. For one page that sells one offer, press Landing page; it has a brief of its own.
- A new siteThe screens of the brief, in order: New or refresh, Language, Business, Reference, How close to the reference, Colours, Font, Content, Requests, Wishes, Summary, Who builds. Some screens are skipped when the answer is already known, for example Colours and Font when a reference gives them.
- An existing siteTo redo your own site, the screens are: New or refresh, Your site, Language, Business, Reference, How close to the reference, Colours, Font, What we'll redesign, Requests, Wishes, Summary, Who builds. Apiway collects the pages, texts and photos of your site, and you choose which pages to redo.
- Save or share the briefSave brief keeps the brief in My apps. Agency? Share with your customer gives a link for a client, who fills in the brief themselves.
- Who buildsOn How will you build the app? pick External agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, DeepSeek Harness), External chats (ChatGPT Work, Claude) or Apiway AI Agent and press Next.
- Give the taskOn the task screen press Copy task and paste it into your agent, or press the button that opens the agent. Then press Open the app's page.
- Preview and publishThe agent sends its work to the Preview; only you see it. When it is right, press Publish.

If it did not work
- Next is off: The screen still needs an answer; the line beside the button says which.
- You closed the brief: It is saved. Open My apps and continue from the card.
- The preview is not what you imagined: Tell your agent what to change. It keeps working on the same app.
Questions and answers
Do I write the texts of the site myself?
No. The agent writes them from your brief and your old site. You correct them in the preview.
Can I use a site I like as the design?
Yes, as a reference. Apiway takes its look and never its texts or photos.
