How earnings work
The programme rewards customers who stay, pay and use Apiway. Important rules are visible before you join — no surprise conditions after you refer someone.
How much
30% → 40%
30% of Apiway's margin on every customer you bring. A second 10% comes from the partners you brought, so 40% is the ceiling of the programme.
For how long
LIFETIME
Commission is recurring, not a one-off bounty: you keep earning from a customer every month for as long as they keep paying Apiway.
Every image, video, email and SMS your client generates costs Apiway real money at the AI provider on the day it runs — it is not a fixed platform fee we can pay a percentage of. So we take what the client actually paid, subtract the direct AI, email, SMS and paid API cost their work consumed, and your commission is a share of what is left. A client who uses Apiway heavily pays more and consumes more; your share is always the same percentage of the remainder.
Example: a client pays $139.99 in a month and their generations cost about $45 of direct AI, email and SMS. The margin is about $95, and 30% of that is about $28.50 to you, that month and every month they stay.
You earn 30% of contribution margin from customers you referred. When a partner you brought refers a qualifying customer, you receive 10% of that same margin. The total stops at one level.
Your first confirmed independent paid customer opens the programme. Commission starts with customer #2 and is not backdated to the first customer.
Free signups do not count. Monthly plans need two billing periods; annual plans need one payment held for 30 days; one-time products need two purchases at least 30 days apart. Meaningful use is always required.
Commission uses the standard paid price less direct AI, email, SMS and paid API costs. Apiway funds the 10% customer offer, so it does not reduce your commission basis.
Bring one new confirmed independent customer every 180 days. If you miss it, the existing portfolio has one final 180-day wind-down before new accruals stop.
The paying workspace belongs to one partner. Self-referrals, cycles and clear linked payer identities are rejected. Every commission has a separate 30-day hold; the payout threshold is $25 USD when payout access is enabled.
