I have an interesting use case. I don't thing Flow can handle this, but wanted to ask. We have a RT field on Opportunity that will get updated by a certain team once a week. We want a Note to be created every time they delete existing data in the field to type something new. The old data will go into the Note and the new data they've entered will stay in the field. Maybe with before update? What would be the way for us to store the data being deleted in a variable?
Whenever I try to use it and I select the picklist field, the formula states it is not the appropriate field that I am selecting.
My client wants a specially designed Lightning Page Component with a flow to allow them to schedule events. I am pretty new to flows. Am I able to use a lookup field in the flow to capture a User name for the “Assigned To” field on the Event? I am having trouble with this. When I run in debug mode, the user lookup search just spins and spins and doesn’t present any options to select.
The idea is to have a component like lookup where users can start typing a value and it will pop-up and populate the field, exactly like in a lookup field. The only trick is that this value comes from a picklist on a custom object. Lookup component searches for records, as far as I know. I could not find any declarative way, do you know if this is possible via LWS?
i put the send email actions in the quote layout all of them.i enable allow emails in the status field. But .none. in another testing enviroment. I can see the send email. Even chatter is enabled.on the object. But also the post action has desappeared. Does somebody knows why?
I have a screen flow that uses various picklist fields, which pull in picklist value sets from various objects. How can I safeguard a flow to avoid future errors IF later on a value is deactivated
The problem is if two users are communicating back and forth, unless the user reloads the page before responding, their response will overwrite the other user’s input. Any ideas?
Screenflows allows for your questions to be longer than the field label in the object. This is great; however, I am facing issues when I create page layouts on the object. The object fields labels are different than the question asked in flow making it harder to put context to the field in a page layout. Is anyone else having this issue? If so, how are you overcoming this issue? I am thinking of creating a custom vf page
When you use the Email action in a flow, how do you create a hyperlink or at least provide a link to the record or related record in the body of the email?
I have a flow which I have nested in a Lightning Component so I can style it in a Community. I can't 'get to' the sub elements to adjust the style. I have a .THIS style file, but whatever class I try to pick up in that file it isn't getting picked up in the component. I have adjusted the style (predominantly font color) in the Chrome Inspector, but can't make the same changes in the actual css file of the component. HELP!

We can't find the correct settings in the 'account update?' decision. Make sure it was created according to the requirements, including correct target references for 'account created' (pointing to the update_user_account Update Records step) and 'account updated' (pointing to the assign_updated_account Assignment step). I will appreciate if someone can help, cos i do not know where I'm getting it wrong. I followed all the step as explained.
I have a screen flow that gets account records, updates then and then creates a task. Now: there is a task already created by integration automatically, and the requirement is not to create multiple tasks about the same, but to update the task created by the integration. My question is: how to change create records action into update records action, this update should happen on a new just created task that gets saved with automation setting its status to complete. Is there any way to get 'ISNEW' records by a flow? I need to update only a newly crated task, not older tasks (I am not sure if created date/time = NOW will work as expected, as the users will not launch the flow exactly when the task is created) Thanks
