I want to use a square image ad. When loading an image into the creative, the top portion is cut off

I am only able to use a "Facebook cover' size ad to see the whole ad. I am creating this entirely from my android phone. I see square ads in my feed. Why is my square ad cut off in creative when I preview it? Thank you for any help!

6 answers, 0 articles
make it sure that the size is right and fit for the fb ad
3 answers, 0 articles
It will be cut off because of the size. I recommend using canva to check default sizes for your ads whether for Facebook or Instagram. You can also follow the sizes below: Recommended image size: 1200 x 628 (1080 x 1080 for a 1:1 image). No maximum size restrictions Image ratio: 9:16 to 16:9 (no link involved), 1.9:1 to 1:1 (if there is a link)

So I have created a business account and an Ad for my target audience

But what I would like is that my Ad is actually a link/ button that takes you to my shop. Which is not an FB shop. Is that a thing?

7 answers, 1 articles
Yes. When you run your ad (conversion is best for sales) the button in the ad can be linked through to you webpage or shop page or anywhere else for that matter. Take a look at the ads you see running and the majority of them the button is taking you off Facebook
7 answers, 0 articles
you can run traffic ads to the product you want to sell. That won't be an Fb shop. When you use your product page link, people land on your page when they click your link. You can't use Conversions as an objective here because you need to verify your domain for that but you don't have your own domain so you can't verify it

Is there anywhere I can learn how to master FB ads?

I have spent lots of money on conversion ads but not getting any sales. I don’t know if it’s my setup, my website or what. Is there anyone who can teach me or look to see what I am doing wrong? I have watched YouTube and the Fb guide but still nothing. Suggestions?

Look up Salome Schillack. She teaches FB ads and is an excellent teacher To help with wording, Ed Reay has a book out on how to create a positive connotation to your ads, which I hear FB is picky about Check your ad creative if it is attractive, your ad copy, your target audience, there's a lot of factors to consider

When I am joining any group on facebook, then the group would joined through my personal Id but I want to join it through my facebook Page

Do You have any solution for this?

22 answers, 0 articles
It depends on the group's settings. Some groups allow joining as page, some don't. If a group allows page, you will be prompted to select a profile with which you wish to join. You can either select your personal profile or a page you manage

Question about retargeting campaign

When setting a retargeting campaign the audience is usually rather narrow. In such cases where the audience is defined already and narrow would you rather choose the optimization event as purchases or landing page views?

If your audience is really hot you can even try reach to lower your CPM and touch more people. It works even better if you have big traffic on your site

Thinking to create 3 Ads with same audience but different Ad types i.e. Single image, Video, Carousel

will it create the competition among these and cost more because the audience is same? These ads would be lead generation ad for new residential project.

Alternatively, create an experiment campaign to test - bit more complicated but could be worth it

Put the 3 ads in one AD set, with this fb will give the type that he thinks has bigger chance to become a lead to specific people in the audience

We're running a Facebook page likes campaign, with the aim to build out followers

However, i notice that likes and followers are two separate metrics on a Facebook page, so wondering, does like campaign mean everyone who likes becomes a follower?

16 answers, 0 articles
A page likes campaign gets you likes… not all become followers tho

Good question, these little things are sometimes confusing. I will recommend to create a natural post and boost it to get likes... then you can invite everyone who liked the post to also like the page

What type of ad strategy should I adopt for my real estate agency niche

Thanks!!

9 answers, 0 articles
As an agency owner, I have found that the worst way to get real estate leads is running lead generation to be collected through Facebook forms. We've tried it for my real estate clients and we discovered that it's a waste of time and resources. When following up with the leads, they are usually not even aware that they filled any form let alone knowing what the form was about. Instead, we have decided to take the route of education. Furthermore, we have created a stunning landing page and make the leads work a little bit before providing their contacts. We find these leads are much more qualified and easy to convert after two weeks to one month of follow up. Also, we want to educate them more before reaching out to them. We find that this is giving us better leads

Google Ads API client library - should I specify access token or let library handle it

It seems the Google Ads API Client Library (PHP in my case) can automatically handle the access tokens by using a provided refresh token. Does this mean that the client library will end up making additional calls in order to generate a new access token on every request? If so, would it be better if I store the access token and pass it with each request and then track when it expires and handle generating a new one myself?

5 answers, 0 articles
The client library (the Python one at least) does the latter by default. You might want to check if the PHP one does the same.

Youtube in stream skippable ad does not start and goes to final CTA screen

I have a Google Ads campaign of a Youtube video (video in stream skippable) of which all the tests seem correct, but since the result is not being good I have checked how when in the channels chosen as audience is going to advertise this video actually is not seen and goes directly to the final screen with the Youtube CTA. I would appreciate some guidance as to where the failure may be, I can not find any error in the video, campaign or ads group. Thank you!

It seems that with the video origin of the ad as "hidden" it works correctly

Export data from advertising platforms (FB Ads, Google Ads, My Target) into Prometheus to visualize in Grafana

We are marketing agency that wants all the ads campaign data (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, My Target) to be displayed in the dashboard(Grafana + Prometheus). We were looking for plugins that can extract the data to Prometheus, and then get visualized in Grafana. Did anyone find any plugins/exporters/ or any solution that will work with minimum coding?

3 answers, 0 articles
There is no such plugin/exporter. Since this kinds of platforms are correcting the results for like two weeks prior. The best way to visualize this kind of information in Grafana is to use a good persistency layer and store data in a database like Postgres or MySQL. So you need to write your own ETL processes or use third-party services.

New MCC Account for adwords

We are currently having one active MCC account for production. We want to create a new MCC account for our testing purpose. If we apply for the approval of new account it gets rejected from Google it says there already exists one account. How to create two MCC Account so that we can separate out the production and non production activity completely from each other? We want both the accounts to be live and the ads get live and some impression, clicks can be accumulated against the ads

6 answers, 0 articles
You can't. Special Test accounts can be create for testing, but they can't serve ads or accrue impressions/clicks. I'd recommend creating a test account (not just a second live account, a special test account) for all testing. But you'll have to test all reporting related functionality on a live production Google Ads account
