On New presentation, press Redesign existing deck, add the file or the link, choose Just share it and press Make the link. Every page becomes one slide with no AI and nothing rewritten, and you see who opened the link.
Steps
- Open PresentationsOpen Presentations in Apiway. The first screen is New presentation. — open in Apiway
- Press Redesign existing deckPress the card Redesign existing deck.
- Your presentationOn Add your old presentation drop ONE file — a PDF, a PowerPoint file or a Keynote file — or paste an open Google Slides link. Tick the rights line and press Next.
- What to doOn Refresh the design, or share it as it is? choose Just share it.
- Press Make the linkKeep the page open while the pages are drawn and uploaded. A PDF takes about two minutes; a PowerPoint or Keynote file or a Google Slides link takes a few minutes, because Apiway's server makes a PDF of it first.
- Your link is readyOn Your link is ready press Copy link or Open the presentation. Analytics opens the view statistics. Add to Workspace puts the presentation on a canvas. Refresh its design starts a redesign of the same deck.

If it did not work
- The card Just share it is off and says “Works with a PDF, PowerPoint or Keynote file, or an open Google Slides link.”: The source is a document, a table or another link. Export the presentation as PDF and drop the PDF.
- The card is off and says “For one presentation given as slides. A document or several sources are made into slides.”: Leave one source on Your presentation: one file of slides or one Google Slides link.
- The card is off and says “Drop the file again on the screen before: it is no longer kept in this browser.”: Go back to Your presentation and drop the file again.
- The screen says “We couldn't turn this presentation into slides.” or “Conversion is not available here. Export the presentation as PDF and drop the PDF.”: The server could not convert the file. Or export the presentation as PDF and drop the PDF on the screen before. Then press Try again.
- A Google Slides link fails: Open the sharing of the file to anyone with the link.
Questions and answers
Is anything in my slides changed?
No. Every page becomes one slide, exactly as you made it.
Can I share a Word document or a spreadsheet this way?
No. They have no slides to show. They can be made into slides on the redesign road.
Can an AI assistant do this for me?
No. The file is dropped on the screen by the person. An assistant can only lead you through the steps.
