Open Presentations, press From scratch and answer a short brief: kind, content, purpose, design, animation, your words and who builds. An AI agent then builds the slides from the brief, and you publish them as one link.
Steps
- Open PresentationsOpen Presentations in Apiway. The first screen is New presentation. — open in Apiway
- Press From scratchPress the card From scratch. On your first presentation two short notes come first; press Next.
- KindOn What kind of presentation? pick a kind. Auto lets Apiway decide from your content. My own lets you write the kind in your own words.
- ContentOn Add the content for your presentation drop files, paste links (+ Add a source adds one more) or write a few words. One phrase or one picture is enough. When you gave material, tick the rights line under it.
- PurposeOn For marketing, or a serious document? choose For marketing (the texts are rewritten to sell and the slides re-ordered) or A serious document (every text, number and picture is kept).
- DesignOn Where do we take the design from? choose From a template, From a reference or From your brand. A template is the default.
- Template or ReferenceWith a template, pick one on Choose a template. With a reference, give a file or a link on Show us the design you like and press Take its look; only its look is used. With your brand this screen is skipped.
- AnimationOn With motion, or static? choose With motion or Static.
- Your wordsWrite what to stress and what to leave out. You can attach files and pictures with Add files or pictures. Press Skip to leave it empty.
- Who buildsOn How will you build the presentation? pick one agent: External agents (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, DeepSeek Harness), External chats (ChatGPT Work, Claude) or Apiway AI Agent. Press Next.
- TaskThe screen shows Task for the agent. Press Copy task and paste it into your agent, or press the button that opens the agent. The agent builds the slides and Apiway shows each step.
- PublishPress Open the presentation's page, look at the preview and press Publish. You get one link; anyone with the link opens the presentation.

If it did not work
- Next does not move on and a line says “One phrase or one picture is enough”: Give any content on Content: a file, a link, a picture or one phrase.
- A line says “Tick the rights line”: Tick the line under the files that says the material is yours to use.
- A file is refused with “A file can be up to 100 MB.”: Make the file smaller, or paste a link to it instead.
- A link is not read: Open the link's sharing settings and let anyone with the link view it.
- You closed the brief: It is saved. Open My presentations and continue from the card.
Questions and answers
Does the brief use AI or spend credits?
No. The brief only takes your answers and files. The agent reads the material after the launch.
Can I answer the screens in another order?
Yes. Every screen opens from the row of steps at the top, and every screen has a default answer.
Can I make a presentation from one sentence?
Yes. One phrase or one picture is enough. The agent then builds the usual slides of that kind as marked blanks and invents no facts.
