Creators set a creator pool price in credits per generation (minimum 83). The buyer pays the creator pool plus a 20% platform markup (default; the markup ratio is platform-configurable). All amounts are denominated in credits, where 1 credit = $0.01 USD.
The math, step by step
Example: photographer sets creator pool = 100 credits.
- Buyer pays: 100 + (100 × 0.20) = 120 credits = $1.20.
- Platform earns: 20 credits ($0.20).
- Photographer + co-authors split: 100 credits across the agreed shares (e.g. 70 to photographer + 30 to model = 70/30).
Pricing rules and constraints
- Minimum creator pool: 83 credits per generation.
- Maximum: no hard cap. Use the buyer-price preview before publishing to see the creator pool plus markup.
- Currency: credits only on the marketplace. Brands top up credits via Stripe; creators withdraw earnings via the manual payout flow.
Pricing strategy
- Volume beats margin on small marketplaces. Start near the minimum when the listing is new, then use real generation volume to decide whether a higher price is justified.
- Test with 83–100 credits for a first listing and revise after a month based on volume.
- Specialist listings can price above that range when the audience and aesthetic are highly specific and the buyer-price preview still fits the intended campaign budget.
