There are three ways: tell your agent what to change, change a website's elements by hand in Edit mode, or collect notes and screenshots in the Edits Pool and send them to the agent as one set of tasks. Every change goes to the preview first; the published app changes when you publish.
Steps
- Ask the agentIn the chat with your agent, say what to change. It works on the same app and updates the preview.
- Edit modeOn a website's page press Edit mode to change texts and pictures by hand, right away.
- Edits PoolOpen the Edits Pool, add edits — a note, or a screenshot you draw on — then finalize the pool and send it to your agent. The agent makes each edit and uploads an AFTER screenshot with a report.
- Accept the resultAccept each finished edit or send it back.
- Invite a clientInvite a client gives a client a link to the preview. Their notes arrive in the pool, and you decide what goes to the agent.
- Who makes the editsWho makes the edits switches between your own agent and Apiway's agent.
- PublishPress Update and publish when the preview is right.
Who makes the edits and what it costs
| Who | Cost in Apiway |
|---|---|
| You, by hand, in Edit mode | Nothing |
| Your own agent | Nothing; it runs on your own subscription |
| Apiway's agent | A paid plan and credits; it starts only with your yes |
If it did not work
- An edit came out wrong: Send it back from the pool, or bring an older version back in ⋯ → Versions.
- The published app did not change: Edits go to the preview. Press Update and publish.
