Cancel your Apiway subscription from the Billing tab. The plan stays active until the end of the current billing period, then drops to Free (see /pricing for the current Free allowance). For mid-cycle changes use the Stripe customer portal.
Cancel via the app
- Open Account → Billing.
- Press Cancel subscription. Confirm in the dialog. Apiway tells Stripe to cancel at the end of the period.
- Or press Manage billing. Stripe opens. Press Cancel plan there.
- Access stays until the period ends, then the account is Free. Press Resume subscription before that day to keep the plan.
The trainer uses the same plan
The AI Simulator is Apiway Basic. It is not a second subscription. Cancel subscription on Billing cancels Basic, and the trainer closes with it. The same steps are on How to cancel an Apiway subscription.
Downgrade to a cheaper paid plan
- On the Billing tab, click Downgrade on the cheaper plan. The new plan applies on the next billing cycle.
- Or use the Stripe customer portal for immediate prorated change.
What happens at period end
- The cancelled subscription enters Free.
- The Free tier does not include a paid monthly refill; your account shows the Free credit limit in the app.
- Generated images stay in your gallery. Marketplace listings stay live.
- Marketplace earnings are unaffected by plan cancellation — they live in a separate balance.
Re-subscribing later
Going back to a paid plan is a single Upgrade click. Stripe re-opens the same customer record so you do not need to re-enter payment details.
Account deletion
Cancelling the plan is different from deleting the account. Account deletion is a separate flow on the Account > Profile tab and removes your data per the privacy policy.
