How to send Facebook & TikTok leads to Google Sheets

Build a no-code Lead Transfer automation from a Meta or TikTok lead form to Google Sheets, with an optional separate Telegram destination. Select the exact page, advertiser, and form; map fields to sheet columns; test and activate; then monitor usage and errors. Studio-native accounts include 10 transfers per month, with eligible paid-plan overage billed at 2 shared credits per transfer.

What you need

  • A Facebook or TikTok ad account running lead-form ads
  • A Google account with a spreadsheet to receive leads
  • Apiway account

Steps

  1. Open Lead Transfer and create an automation

Sign in, open Lead Transfer from Apps, and create a new automation. Choose Meta Leads or TikTok Leads as the source and Google Sheets as the destination.

    Open in Apiway

  2. Connect the source and select the exact lead form

Authorize Meta or TikTok, choose the connection, then select the Facebook Page or TikTok advertiser and the specific lead form. Use a platform test lead when the form has no sample data yet so Apiway can discover the real fields before mapping.

  3. Connect Google Sheets and map columns

Connect Google and grant every permission checkbox shown. Select the spreadsheet and worksheet, load its header columns, then map fields or compose a template for each column. If the sheet has no header row, add one and reload columns.

  4. Add Telegram as a separate destination (optional)

Create or add a Telegram destination automation for the same source. Use Apiway_official or a connected custom bot, add the bot to the target group or channel, obtain the Chat ID inside that chat, map the message template, and test it. Each destination has its own delivery, retry, and billing record.

  5. Test, activate, and monitor

Run a test, fix any field or permission error, then activate the automation. New events received after activation are delivered according to the configured route; historical leads are not automatically imported. Check Usage for the 10-transfer monthly allowance or credit billing and Error log for retries and recovery actions.

Common mistakes

  • Mapping the wrong lead-form fields to columns

Fields differ by form, not just by ad account. Select the exact live form, generate or load sample data, and test the resulting row before activation.

  • Assuming it back-fills old leads

The automation handles new events received after activation. Export and import historical leads separately if they must appear in the sheet.

Troubleshooting

  • New leads aren't appearing in the sheet — what should I check?

Open the automation and Error log. Confirm the source connection is healthy, the selected page or advertiser and exact form match the live campaign, the automation is active, Google is connected with every requested permission, and the worksheet headers still match the mappings. Then send a new platform test lead.

  • Leads are landing in the sheet but Telegram alerts aren't firing

Confirm the Telegram destination automation is active, the correct Chat ID is stored, and Apiway_official or your custom bot is still in the target group or channel with the required rights. Run its test and inspect Error log; the Sheets and Telegram destinations retry and bill independently.
