Auto-resend for campaigns

Wondering how many use auto-resend for campaigns. It was recently highly recommended by a top blogger in my niche. She resends every email which contains an intro and link to lastest post to all unopens. Says it really increases her open rate and click through. This week, following her suggestion, I switched from using RSS feed for posts to creating an individual email with button to the post. Have done it for 3 posts so I don’t yet have enough for comparison, but I do like the look and feel of it better. Now trying to decide about the auto resend. Thoughts?
