Hi everyone. I have an online store, and since it started growing up, I decided that it would be great to automate some processes. When you first get acquainted with Zapier, even with a lack of technical knowledge, you can easily and quickly understand the interface of this platform. Thanks to its thought-out interface any user can set up the integration between two apps of different complexity in a couple of minutes with a few clicks. Positive argument for “Zapier”

More than 3,000 integrations

13

The Zapier cloud platform supports a lot of software, including various CRM systems, cloud storage, social networks, etc. If you don't have a target app, you can add it using a generic method by setting up the integration manually using webhooks. Zapier also offers numerous ready-made tools "out of the box" - you can take them and start using them immediately. All of these features save a lot of time and money for customers and open up truly infinite horizons for users' needs

Negative argument for “Zapier”

It’s expensive

12

Currently, the market for apps having similar capabilities to Zapier has grown tremendously. Many competitors can successfully compete with Zapier in terms of the quality of services offered. Many of them offer very reasonable rates and a wide range of integration options, similar to Zapier. Zapier, in its turn, is losing the battle for users' attention because of its pricing policy, which cannot be called profitable. The prices of Zapier plans displease the users and don’t stand up to any criticism. The main arguments against using Zapier are that many integrations which Zapier offers can be done much cheaper with competitor services, for example via Integromat. Because of the high cost of Zapier rates, many users, frustrated, leave for other platforms

Negative argument for “Zapier”

Tough restrictions on the free plan

10

The most popular Zapier plan at the moment is the free plan. It’s because most users aren’t ready to buy a plan when they first get acquainted with the tool. Many of them want to try the integrations and features offered by Zapier first to decide later whether they are suitable or not. This is where the main problem is - the free plan allows up to 50 integrations per month, and the majority of popular applications are simply impossible to use. On top of that, Zapier offers free plan users only 5 Zaps per month, which is very little. That's why an impressive number of customers prefer other tools that can offer much more features for free

Positive argument for “Integromat”

It’s cheaper than Zapier

11

Introduced in 2012, Integromat has confidently won the recognition of a large number of users, due to its clever pricing policy. From the point of view of online platforms' clients, Integromat pricing plans look much better than those of most similar cloud software. This allows Integromat to compete with Zapier successfully. Many Zapier users prefer to switch to Integromat, thinking that they can save their budget with it. That's a fair opinion, and to clearly prove it, let's compare the basic rates of these two services: - Zapier's starter plan costs about $20, has 750 operations available, and the minimum time interval between scripts is 15 minutes. - Integromat's basic tariff is $9, with 10,000 operations available and a scripting time interval of 5 minutes. The examples above clearly show that for less money Integromat offers more favorable conditions, and for most customers, it is a deciding factor in making the final decision when choosing an integration platform

Positive argument for “Integromat”

More flexible automations

8

The Integromat developers took care of the needs of their clients and implemented in the end product the functions of more flexible automations comparing to similar automations of competitors. Users of Integromat can create almost any kind of integration for their needs, modify it and customize it for their individual processes. Very few cloud apps could boast of this. Using Integromat it became possible to build the nonlinear logic of integrations. The toolset allows you to create branched logic, customize repetitions of actions using arrays, and augment your integrations with filters, triggers, and timers

Negative argument for “Integromat”

Complicated interface

6

Unlike the Zapier interface, the Integromat interface is clearly designed for professionals who work with similar tools and understand their logic and workflow. The average user will find it very hard to grasp all the intricacies of the Integromat interface. To set up the needed integration it may be necessary to use video tutorials or technical support. Not everyone likes this situation. Some customers prefer to use a simpler and easier tool so that they don't have to spend too much time and effort learning how to use Integromat

Negative argument for “Integromat”

Fewer integrations

9

Despite the above-mentioned advantages of Integromat, it has a significant disadvantage: the number of integrations offered by the platform is very low in comparison with Zapier. As of today, the Integromat has only about 1000 integrations, including the integration with Zapier itself. Of course, this is very little, but the developers are trying to develop the platform and increase the number of possible integrations over time
